VOTE FOR THE AUGUST.....
the august is one of 10 FINALISTS in the Cayamo Songwriting Competition! This means that out of the 100+ submissions that were entered, the august made the final cut for a chance to play on the Cayamo Cruise Ship - which is a musical cruise that consists of shows by Lyle Lovett, John Hiatt, Indigo Girls, Brandi Carlile and a bunch'a other awesome names......
NOW WE NEED YOUR HELP! Please go to http://playitlive.cayamo.com/entry.php?id=1338 and VOTE for the august! You can vote once a day until Nov. 23. You can also hear our NEW SONG "Aboard the Cayamo" on the same page.
To VOTE you have to
1. go to http://playitlive.cayamo.com/entry.php?id=1338 and CLICK the "VOTE" button at the bottom of the page.
2. (first time VOTERS) You'll be prompted to then REGISTER with an email and password.
3. After you register, an email will be sent to your account and you will have to confirm it by clicking on a link. After you are confirmed, you will be able to VOTE by going back to http://playitlive.cayamo.com/entry.php?id=1338 and hitting the VOTE button.

CHECK OUT OUR NEW SONG!!!
the august just finished recording a tune called "Aboard The Cayamo" as part of the PLAY IT LIVE Cayamo Songwriting Contest. Bands had to submitt a tune that represent the cruise (which is a music cruise with Lyle Lovett, John Hiatt, Brandi Carlile, Indigo Girls and a bunch of other huge names....)
